The name ” THE PRINCE OF PEACE INTEGRATED SCHOOL” was conceived because the people behind the school believe that JESUS CHRIST, being born as the PRINCE OF PEACE, as in the Biblical verse Isaiah 9:6, is also the best teacher during His time and up to the present. His title “The Prince of Peace” deserves to be exalted especially in present times when the world needs the urgency of recognizing someone who can truly give the peace that comes from the Lord.

Our History

In 1994, the idea of putting up a school was planned by the Directress, MRS. VILMA B. SIA but it did not immediately materialize. From then on, the vision of operating a school as a way of teaching the words of Jesus Christ remained in her heart. She kept on praying to God and asked Him to give her signs that would show that she should pursue her teaching ministry. One day her prayer was finally answered. The various turns of events gave birth to the realization of the Prince of Peace Integrated School as an institution for learning. On May 1, 2004, the school was finally dedicated to the Lord, and the DepEd granted PPIS to operate Pre-School Level and Grades 1-6 elementary Level. We had 19 students then 4 Nursery, 7 Kindergarten and 8 Preparatory. The need to expand the services of PPIS to the students reached up to the secondary level. The mission of putting up a secondary course was confirmed through the answered prayer made by Mrs. Vilma B. Sia. It was revealed by God to continue this mission on the third week of March 2008 before the first graduation ceremony for the elementary level. When we disclosed our plan to put up the secondary level, the parents, students and the teachers agreed to support the opening of the high school level and promised to enroll their children, brothers and sisters and even their friends’ children in order to start the course. In 2009, PPIS again was given another permission from DepEd to operate Junior High School. We started with only 7 high school students and the fund needed to finance the facilities for the high school building was graciously provided by Mr. Rudy Gamboa and his friend from Australia. God’s provision continued to flow and through the assistance of the Macaisa family, PPIS was blessed by another building in 2013 which served as the library and computer lab. In 2015, PPIS was granted PEAC Accreditation, allowing the school to avail the fund assistance from FAPE which helped expand the school’s mission to provide affordable Christian education to more students. By 2019, our school’s population was already 323 students, from Kinder- Grade 10. When the pandemic struck, it was by God’s favor and grace that PPIS was able to answer the call to offer an alternative delivery mode in education. While so many schools had to close, we were able to continue to serve our students through blended learning and online distance learning. As we all navigated the challenges of distance learning, PPIS continued to pursue its mission to provide quality education, and despite the challenges of the new normal, we were able to open our Senior high school in 2021, offering the GAS and HUMMS track starting with only 6 students in its first year which grew to 26 in its second year. With fervent prayer and the dedication of the PPIS Admin, teachers, and staff, God’s blessing overflows as we are seeing our alumni become professionals in different fields, such as in medicine, education, engineering, hotel and restaurant manager, and many others. True enough, God is faithful to what He has started in PPIS. Another blessing came when God gave us the opportunity to launch our DepEd accredited Homeschooling Program for the school year 2022-2024 from Kindergarten to Junior High School. As of SY 2022 -2023, we have 375 students enrolled from Kinder to Senior High.

Our Core Values

The Prince of Peace Integrated School’s core value is LOVE. The love of God is the source of all things good, and we should all be rooted and established in God’s love (Ephesians 3:17). Nothing in our lives will ever really amount to anything if we do not have love (1 Corinthians 13:1). It is the main fruit of the Spirit out of which springs forth all the other virtues that every believer of Jesus Christ is to nurture and demonstrate. We show that we love God by keeping His commands (1 John 5:3). We know and rely on the love God has for us, for God is love. And whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them (1 John 4:16) GALATIANS 5:22-23 1 CORINTHIANS 13:1-8 Love Love never fails. (v. Joy Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Our Philosophy

At Prince of Peace Integrated School, we view the educational process through the lens of our faith in Jesus Christ, with the essential elements being the learner, the curriculum, and the teacher. Our philosophy is based on the following beliefs

A Christ-centered understanding of the student:

We believe that every student is a unique individual, created by Jesus Christ to know and follow Him. As such, we treat each child as a precious creation made in the image of God and value their talents and abilities equally in the classroom and the school community.

A Christ-centered curriculum:

Our enhanced DepEd Curriculum explores the world that Jesus created and our role within it. Through their learning experiences, students discover Jesus’ perspective on the world and how He wants us to interact with it.

A Christ-centered approach to teaching:

The goal of the teachers is not just to impart knowledge but instead, to guide each learner to develop wisdom on how to use their knowledge, gifts, and talents in a way that brings about a positive impact to the world and give glory to God.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide:

  • Quality and Christ-centered education at an affordable cost
  • Innovative learning modalities that promote holistic growth and academic excellence
  • A loving, safe, and conducive learning environment, both physical and virtual
  • Social development programs that foster partnerships with stakeholders

Our Vision

At PPIS, we envision a Christ-centered community where knowledge is pursued with excellence, faith is rooted in Christ, and learners are nurtured to become globally innovative individuals and responsible citizens.
