History

Where Christ is the center and the child is the focus

Our History

Prince of Peace Integrated School (PPIS) was envisioned by Mrs. Vilma B. Sia in 1994 as a Christ-centered educational ministry. After years of preparation and prayer, the school was officially dedicated on May 1, 2004, and began offering preschool and elementary education with approval from the Department of Education.

As the school community grew, PPIS expanded its academic programs by opening Junior High School in 2009, followed by Senior High School in 2021. Through the years, PPIS has remained committed to providing quality education rooted in Christian values, holistic formation, and academic excellence.

Logo Interpretation

The Bible

The Bible being the Word of God symbolizes that every child enrolled in the Prince of Peace Integrated School will be guided in accordance with Biblical principles. It is portrayed in a fully opened position indicating full acceptance of God’s words.

The Dove

The Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus Christ like a dove and it symbolizes the anointing that we receive as children of God when we surrender our lives to Him. In PPIS, each child is guided to always seek the wisdom, knowledge and understanding that come from the Holy Spirit in everything that they say, think or do.

The Olive Leaf

The olive leaf that the dove returned with in Genesis 8:11 represents the news of the return of life on the earth after the great flood in the time of Noah. It reminds us of the good news of eternal life which we receive when we put our faith in Jesus Christ and accept him as our Lord and Savior.

The Color Purple

The color purple represents royalty, because if we belong to Christ, then we are co-heirs and part of God’s kingdom.

Hymm

With joy and peace to you Oh! Lord we stand
Glorifying and thanking you with a mission in our heart
To love and serve you most as we fulfill our duty to our countrymen
We are the prince and princess in your heart
We will always do our best to lead others to Christ
We highly praise and glorify your name
As we raise and waive the banner of our faith (2x)
Prince of Peace (2x)
Prince of Peace onward
We salute you, we honor you,
We adore you and praise you.
Forever and ever.
