Welcome to our “Homeschooling FOR JOY"

(DepEd Homeschool Program and U.S. Program)

Welcome to our “Homeschooling FOR JOY,” the homeschool program of the Prince of Peace Integrated School, where we prioritize Flexibility, Opportunity, Responsibility, Jesus, Others, and You.

F – Flexibility is at the core of our program. While still being mindful of the government’s requirements and competency guidelines, we understand that each family has different needs, interests, and family situations, and we work with you to create a customized homeschooling plan that works for your family.

O – Opportunity is abundant in our program. Homeschooling allows learners to explore their interests and passions, grow in faith, build strong family relationships, gain life skills, and to experience world-learning. We encourage collaboration with other homeschooling families and communities with both our local partners and our international affiliates.

R – Responsibility is an important value in our program. Homeschooling is parent-led, and we guide parents to take an active role in taking charge of the “training up their child in the way they should go.” We also believe that homeschooling teaches children to take responsibility for their own learning and to become independent, self-motivated learners, and to develop an understanding or our bigger role in contributing positively to society.

J – Jesus is the center of our program. The flexibility of homeschooling allows parents to seize every opportunity to point their children to Jesus, and to lead and train them in righteousness. We believe that every child is a unique creation of God, and we strive to instill biblical values and a Chrisitan worldview in our learning journey.

O – Others are also a priority in our program. We believe that homeschooling provides an opportunity for children to seek out and engage in opportunities to do good and to serve others, starting in our family, then to our immediate community, and even to the rest of the world as they recognize their role as global citizens.

Y – You – Finally, we believe that homeschooling is about You and your child’s uniqueness – your family, your values, your goals. We are committed to supporting you in your homeschooling journey with love, care, and guidance, and we look forward to working with you and your child to help them reach their full potential.

Two Program Options

Our program provides two options to suit your family’s needs: the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd)  Program with Homeschool Permit HSP 001-005, and the U.S.  Program. Both options integrate Bible-based lessons, global citizenship, and a delight-directed learning approach.
